A Philomath.

Word: Philomath.
A Lover Of Learning.

It is certainly no doubt that intelligence is something that I have always craved - for a number of years, I've found myself fascinated with certain subjects, but the odd thing was, I wanted to keep learning.

I've always favoured intelligence over a great number of things and at every opportunity I have, I will cram bowls of information down my throat, whether it be reading a story or watching the latest historical documentary on the TV.

I still remember years ago when it came to my last few days in school, a great number of my friends were almost thrilled with the idea that they no longer had to sit in a classroom and learn. But for me, I was almost confused by the statement, as I find I encourage the majority of the people I know to continue learning; Whether it be an activity which requires hands on experience, or one which requires I note down pages of pages of information, I will always willingly do it.

For most, people saw my words as an implication that I had always done great in school but as much as I sat and enjoyed learning, it didn't mean that I was particular good at sitting in exams. I like most always had something which was my weakest subject and that was the horrid subject: Maths. Despite been incredibly awful at the subject, I never turned down the opportunity to try. However considering recent events, a certain disease has left me with memory loss, meaning that my knowledge filter has some what been erased.
Nevertheless, I don't see it as a negative aspect to me, instead I see it as my brain emptying information, simply so I can add more to it.

I'd like to see my self as human Philomath, who ponders in curiosity whilst journeying through different ages as the world develops.
