Simple Chocolate Bun Recipe.

If you guys are at all wondering, yes I'm still on the baking journey. Every now and again, I wander the internet in search of a good, simple yet different recipe.
With keeping on the same recipe for so long, I struggled to think I was capable of making another Lemon Drizzle Cake.
Today is currently Friday and when I woke up this morning, I was certain I was going to be baking; with my spontaneity, I had to decide on something basic, so I didn't have to travel a great distant to fetch extra ingredients.

This particular recipe came from the website thecakerecipe.co.uk, and I stand at what I said before, this recipe is super easy and everybody can do it.

Ingredients:

  • 100g (4oz) Margarine.
  • 100g (4oz) Caster Sugar.
  • 2 Medium Eggs.
  • 100g (4oz) Self Raising Flour.
  • 1 flat tablespoon Cocoa

As for the topping, I'll leave that blank because I know personally people can have their own preferences when decorating. However if you're the one to follow the recipe, may I suggest at least 75g of chocolate, melt over the stove until liquid consistency, then place on buns when ready.

Instructions:

Turn oven on to 180 degrees, Weigh out all ingredients: place margarine, caster sugar into a bowl, then sift flour and cocoa powder into the mix and stir until it is a soft mixture.

For this, it is all self explanatory and easy to go with - I can confirm no struggle from me at all.
:)

Now here's an image of my lovely scruffy, yummy desert treat.
